1. How can I sign up for e-Statements?
If you are a UCB Personal Online Banking user, simply log in to Personal Online Banking; go to "Products and Services" and click "Enter". A list of your account(s) will be displayed on the e-Statement "Account Summary" screen, simply check the "Enable Electronic Statements" box next to the account(s) that you want to receive e-Statements.
If you have not registered for UCB Personal Online Banking yet, you will be required to enroll in UCB Personal Online Banking before signing up for e-Statements.
2. Is there a fee to receive e-Statements?
e-Statements are free. However, if you wish to receive both e-Statements and paper statements for the same account, a $5 fee per statement cycle fee will be assessed to your account.
3. Which account(s) are eligible for e-Statements?
Deposit accounts for which statements are produced are eligible to be enrolled in e-Statements.
4. Will my e-Statements look the same as my regular printed statements?
Yes. It will contain all the information that is included in your paper statements. For legal purposes, a printed version of an online statement is the same as a paper statement mailed via U.S. Mail.
5. How do I know when my new e-Statements are available?
The e-Statement and related check images should be available for viewing by the customer after 1:00 pm PT on the business day after the statement cycle date. An email notification will be sent to you when your e-Statement is ready for review.
6. How can I view my e-Statements?
You need Adobe Reader to view, print, or save your e-Statements. If you do not have it, please download it at http://www.adobe.com
To view e-Statements log in to Personal Online Banking, go to "Product and Services" click on
"Enter", click on "Account Number" on the "Account Summary" page, and select the statement date that you wish to view.

7. How long will my e-Statements be retained on the system?
Your e-Statements are retained in the e-statement system for 18 months starting with the first e-statement generated during the statement cycle when the customer enrolled that account for e-statements. E-statements are not available for statement cycles prior to when the customer enrolled that account for e-statements. If you do not see the statement you want to view online, please contact our Customer Service Center at 1-800-821-3899, Monday to Friday from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Pacific Time.
8. Can I view check images in e-Statements?
Yes, you can view and/or print the front and back side of the check image by clicking on the check number.
9. Will I receive canceled checks or images of my checks with e-Statements?
When you select e-Statement as your statement delivery method, we will stop sending you paper statements and paper check images after the first month unless you request the additional paper statements with a monthly service fee of $5 . Through our e-Statements service, you can access images of your statements and checks online. You can also change your statement delivery preference at any time and resume paper statements.
10. How can I receive paper statements in addition to e-Statements?
To receive both paper and e-Statements, log in to UCB Personal Online Banking, go to "Account Services" and complete Section 4 of the "Account Service Request Form". A $5 per statement cycle fee will be assessed to your account for each paper statement that you request to receive in addition to your e-Statement.
11. Does the Bank charge a fee if I want to receive both e-Statements and paper statements?

12. If I sign up for e-Statements for my checking and savings accounts, will I still receive my paper statements?
We discontinue your paper statements after the first month you receive your e-Statement unless you request the additional paper statements by paying a monthly fee. You can save and print the e-Statements, and they are legally the same as the paper statements.
13. How can I cancel e-Statements and switch back to paper statements?
To cancel e-Statements, log in to Personal Online Banking, go to "Product and Services", click on "Enter", click on the "Enable Electronic Statements" box to uncheck the box in the "Enrollment Options" column, and click on the "Update" button . You automatically will not receive an e-Statement for the current cycle and will receive only a paper statement starting with the current cycle.
14. Are e-Statements available in Chinese?
e-Statements are only available in English.
15. What are the differences between e-Statement and my "Account Activity " page through Online Banking?
